My first time taking part in The Pitch on ABC's Gruen. The impossible brief? Convince Australia to ban ladders for men over 50.
Our approach was a little different. Let's face it, men over 50 aren't taking advice from authority figures who talk down to them. Tell them what to do, and they'll do the opposite out of principle. But hear the same message from a friendly face in a familiar setting, and suddenly it just might cut through. And guess what? We convinced the panel, won The Pitch, and had an absolute blast making this little ripper... or should I say reaper?
